April 3, 2022 at 12:20 pmVery easy to work with. The front office was extremely helpful in finding a time that suited my schedule. You can tell this office performs a high number of FAA physical examinations. As a new client, I had a renewed 1st Class medical in hand within an hour of check-in.
Dr. Shreder was very professional and friendly, giving time for any personal questions or concerns.

April 5, 2022 at 2:06 pmDr. Shreder’s office was professional and made the FAA physical process very smooth. Total time spent at the office was approximately 40-45 minutes. I was seeking 3 initial Special Issuances (SI) though so I would expect it to go faster if you’re only seeking a renewal or do not require a SI. After 10 minutes in the waiting room, the nurse brought me back to take vitals and perform the normal eye and health exams. Visual acuity, phoria testing, and depth perception were completed in a standard eye exam box. The color blindness test was completed using a book. I waited another 10 minutes or so once the physical was complete in an exam room before Dr. Shreder walked in. He was professional throughout. We discussed the SIs I was seeking and the paperwork I brought along documenting the medical conditions. Definitely a pilot’s AME. Very low stress appointment. Dr. Shreder gave plenty of time to answer any questions or concerns I had.
